What a capture! Is this the 'low key' wedding of which you spoke? Looks very fancy to me indeed. And the ambience of the room, positively dreamy with the light streaming in through the window and the couples to the side. I think you've taken your photography to a whole new level in this wee little series. And you can see the progressioin from child to adult right through the frame, but then you question who is the child and who is the adult - the children don't quite know what to do with themselves.

What a lovely, spontaneous shot :)

hehehe...such a great capture, you can make up a whole story about this shot :)
on the technical side i think it's a bit blurry, if i want to be picky, but actually it doesn't really take away from the feeling of the photo.

Thank you, once again! It wasn't raining that evening - the blurriness came from Neat Image. While it's a great piece of software, it sometimes doesn't do things correctly. It does give the photo a sort of dreamy effect, though! :)

Thank you! I didn't like the blur, either, and it almost kept me from submitting it, but in the end, I felt as though it added to the photo's overall mood. :hug:

This most certainly wasn't the low-key wedding I mentioned before, but because it was so fancy, I'm feeling less anxious about the October wedding!

Thank you so much for what you said here. I do feel a shift in the things I see and choose to capture. I'm looking forward to finding out where I go from here... and to hearing what you have to say about the photos I produce!

Nice capture of such sweet moment.
Neat Image tends to soften it too much.
I'd duplicate the original and lower the opacity to 50% then flatten it.
I find Grain Surgery filter is better, then again, grains are just fine.
